Considered the standard weight in the jeans industry, the 14oz gives the fabric a gentle ‘slubby’ character, ensuring a great fade after wearing. An extremely special denim, the looms which make this cloth are no longer produced new today, the existing looms being in service since 1955/1956.
The yarn is produced using natural indigo from leaves, the centuries old methodology. Kuroki denim is also not blended with sulphur like modern denim, but instead is rather dyed with 100% raw indigo.
